What is Celebrex?

Celebrex is a non steroid used to prevent inflammation and minimize pain(swelling and and or soreness). Celebrex has been perscribed for:

• Patients with osteoarthritis a type of
• Patients with rheumatoid in adults
• To manage acute pain in adults
• Treatment of pre and post menstrual pain
• Help reduce the frequency of colon growths in clients with a disease named FAP which is a disease in the rectum and colon.

There are usually little to zero restrictions on food, drink, or other activity while on Celebrex. This is of course unless otherwise prescribed by your physician.

Warnings for Celebrex:

Some vital stomach problems from ulcers, possible bleeding are recognized problems in patients treated with NSAID’s. Similar issues have occurred in patients treated with Celebrex, although very rare. Thechance of stomach problems goes up the longer you take the drug. However, it is possible that even short-term treatment will pose a risk. These issues sometimes happen without any warning, but in somepatients they may cause symptoms such as:
gnawing
burning stomach pain
black or tarry stools
vomiting.
