Mesothelioma Symptoms

Symptoms of the desease can be similar to viral pneumonia. And can be very few and far between. This has been known to cause a dealy in the diagnosis of this desease.

A Major symptom is pleural effusion this is the buid up of fluid between the lungs and the chest cavity. X-rays and CT Scans can be used to find the effusion.

Other symptoms include but are not limited to:

•  A continual cough
•  Difficulty swallowing
•  A quick lose of more than 10% of your body weight
•  Short breath or trouble breathing
•  A hoarse voice or consistant soar throat
•  Accessive Sweat and fevers
•  A stinging in the lower back or in your chest

Physical examiniations can lead to further x-rays and test that can diagnos mesothelioma. Also CT scans, MRI's and other internal organ test can be helpful in discovering the cancer.
